Office for provision of state services was opened in Etchmiadzin

A unified office for provision of state services was also launched in the city of Etchmiadzin today with the participation of Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan.

According to Arpine Hovhannisyan, the population of the city of Etchmiadzin and the neighbouring settlements do not have to go to Yerevan to obtain a number of documents; instead, they will go to the Post Office in Etchmiadzin (2 M. Mashtots), fill out the application for receiving the requested document and obtain it within the specified time-frame.

During the launch of the office, a citizen received a criminal record statement and the statements of information on family status that the citizen had requested in advance.

Let us remind that upon the assignment of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia initiated and, in a short amount of time, implemented the idea of unified offices for the provision of state services, which are already operating in the post offices of the city of Yerevan (address: 21 Nalbandyan Street), ArdShinbank (address: 24 Tigran Mets Street), Ameriabank (address: 6 Deghatan Street) Converse Bank (address: 4/6 Kajaznuni Street), as well as at the post office of the city of Gyumri (address: 5 Rizhkov), making state services more accessible for citizens of the Republic of Armenia.

The unified offices for provision of state services provide the following services:

Services provided by the service centres of the Agency for State Registration of Legal Entities:

  • state registration of non-governmental organisations, rejection of state registration;
  • state registration of funds and foundations, state registration or rejection of state registration of changes;
  • state registration of individual entrepreneurs and rejection of state registration;
  • photocopying of documents and provision of carbon copies;
  • registration of secured rights over movable property;
  • provision of information related to secured rights over movable property.

Services provided by the service centres of the state administration republican body running the Unified State Cadastre of Real Estate authorised by the Government of the Republic of Armenia:

  • state registration of rights over property;
  • provision of information on state registration of the rights and limitations over property, including in the form of a unified statement of information:

Services provided by the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency:

  • issuance of duplicates of certificates of civil status acts registration;
  • issuance of a statement of information on the existence or absence of a civil status acts registration record;
  • provision of a statement of information on family status;
  • Apostille of documents (international validation).

Services provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia:

  • provision of statements of information on existence of criminal records and on search in the Republic of Armenia for submission to foreign states;

Services provided by the Police of the Republic of Armenia adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia:

  • issuance of a new certificate replacing the state registration certificate of the property right over a vehicle;
  • issuance of a new certificate replacing the lost or worn out registration certificate;
  • issuance of a new vehicle registration plate with the same combination of letters and figures replacing the worn out or illegible registration plate;
  • issuance of an international certificate for vehicle registration;

Unified offices for provision of state services will also be launched in the rural communities of all Marzes.
