Rustam Badasyan discusses a range of issues relating to judicial and legal reforms in Armenia with Secretary General of the Council of Europe

On 15 October, Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan met with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Maria Pejčinović Burić in Strasbourg.

During the meeting, Minister Badasyan touched upon the judicial and legal reforms and reforms in the fight against corruption in Armenia, presented the latest developments and particularly touched upon the regulations provided for by the two strategies that the Government recently adopted.

Rustam Badasyan discussed with his counterpart of the Council of Europe a range of issues related to the human rights agenda in the Republic of Armenia as well.

On the same day, the Minister of Justice of Armenia also had separate meetings with Director General of Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe Christos Giakoumopoulos and Executive Secretary of the Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) of the Council of Europe Gianluca Esposito and discussed a broad range of issues.

Let us remind that from 14 to 16 October, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Rustam Badasyan is participating in the conference entitled "Digital Challenges for Justice in Europe" in the city of Strasbourg of the French Republic.
